When you feel compelled to write a specific story, you do it.

I felt extremely compelled to write this story. I'm not sure if any of you have ever heard of the proverb about the red string of fate, but it is a pretty powerful statement.

I have always believed that each of us has that one person we are meant to be with, and it may be years before you know who that one person is. You may be with them right now. I may be with mine right now, or I may have met him already and didn't know it, because the timing wasn't right, or whatever the circumstance may be. When you meet that person, timing may not be on your side, but as the proverb says, "The thread may stretch, or tangle, but it will never break."
I never intended to write this book, but like I said I felt a compulsion to do so. I have a another book that is due to come out soon, and I actually put it on the back burner to start this one. How crazy is that?
This story is basically writing itself. The vivid dreams that have come from writing it propelled me forward and the words and emotions seem to be a continuous flow. Not sure whether I should be wary of such a powerful force or not though. I guess we will see what happens when it finally comes out.
The point of this blog is for writers/authors... Have you ever felt so compelled to write something, that it took up your every thought?
And for those readers reading this... Do you ever wonder who is tied to the end of your red thread of fate?
Of All the Fates is a romance novel that I am currently obsessed with writing at the moment, and I feel for the characters and what they are going through. This will be a charming romance novel that has funny moments, tender moments, complicated situations, love and acceptance, as well as finding out that timing really is everything.
Fate sometimes has a really sarcastic sense of humor.
I hope you watch out for this book to come out mid - to late summer of 2022.
