My website will be going to a different location in February
I recently received my yearly notice of website renewal, and I was shocked to see what they were going to charge me. It will be over $200 more than what I have paid in the past. There is no way I will be renewing my website on this platform, that price increase is absolutely ridiculous. If I have to learn how to host a website and all of that, I will.
I made this website myself and did not use any of their so-called professionals to do it. This inflation crap is unbelievable and that increase of 200% is robbery. I don't care how you put it.
I haven't done much in the line of actually posting new blogs in a while, because life got busy, but when I saw the bill for my renewal, I figured this was the perfect opportunity to post.
There have been some big things going on in my family, one is, our son graduating from The Ohio State University a couple of weeks ago. We are so proud of him. He will also be starting his new job after the New Year, and I can't wait to see what the future holds for him. I believe he will do big things.
After graduation, we thought it would be fun to celebrate with a Christmas Cruise, so we traveled to Mahagony Bay in Roatan, Honduras and Cozumel, Mexico. We had a fabulous time. If you ever have the chance to go to Mahagony Bay, do so. I would plan a week just there alone, specifically Soly Mar Beach Club. If we could live there, we would. Apparently, they do have a lot of retired residents, so it could happen someday.
My writing has been on the back burner over the last few months, as I went back to designing jewelry, and started a fun pen enterprise... Beaded pens. I've gotta say, they are super cool looking, if I do say so myself.
As for my books, I do have a couple of book signings coming up, first being, January 21st from 11am -1pm at the John's Creek Books and Gifts shop in Johns Creek, Georgia, and the 2nd one will be on February 4th in Harahan, LA at the Hot NOLA Carnival Book Event. After those are completed, I will begin to write book 4 of my Eva St. Claire series, and a new psychological thriller, too.
If any of you out there are prayer warriors, my family could use those as well, as a very close member of my family will be undergoing quite a bit of medical treatments soon. Thank you.
I hope you all have a wonderful New Years and a healthy, happy and safe 2023.
